In the same way the chief priests & the teachers of the law mocked Him among themselves: He saved others, they said, but He can't save Himself. (Mark 15:31). Jesus could have saved Himself, but He endured this suffering & pain because of His love for us. He could have chosen not to take the pain & humiliation; He could have killed those who mocked Him - but He suffered through it all because He loved even His enemies & the unlovable.  We had a significant part in the drama that afternoon because our sins were on the cross too; our sicknesses & diseases were on the cross too; our poverty was on the cross too. Jesus died on the cross for us, & the penalty for our sins was paid by His death. The only adequate response we can make is to confess our sin & freely accept the fact that Jesus paid for it so we wouldn't have to. Don't insult God with indifference toward the greatest act of genuine love in history. By way of testimony, most of my life as a Christian is characterized by suffering for my faith, rejection, persecution, hardships, difficulties, weaknesses, being terminally  sick, etc. This is because God entrusted a BIG stewardship to me. I could have compromised & remained AVERAGE,  but i said to myself that I will not fail God because He has given me this PRIVILEDGE, singled me out of the billions of Christians in the world. The Lord favored me & I decided to trust Him through the process which span over 31 years. The fruit of this process is what you see me do or say. I endured mockings because i would pray for others & they will be healed, while i myself would remain sick. I would pray for others & they would be richly blessed while i myself remained in poverty.  It was a terrible time for me. I have not arrived. I will only arrive when God says: Welcome good & faithful servant. I am still believing God for more of His presence & more of His glory. I will continue to live the Word, pray the Word & speak the Word. Father I give you praise & all the glory. Thank you Jesus. Good morning Holy Spirit. Prayer: Father, we were lost, now we are found, because of what Jesus did on the cross for us. We were blind, now we can see. We were oppressed by satan, now You have made him a defeated foe before us, a SMALL boy to those who are obedient & live by faith. You have caused us to walk in dominion. No weapon formed against us will prosper. We are more than conquerors through Christ who loved us. We declare: We are free, healed, we are delivered, we are blessed in Jesus name. We enjoy maximum protection & security. Thank you Father for fighting the battles for us. Thank you for giving us victory, success, prosperity, favor, breakthrough, supernatural provision & overflow. We owe it all to Jesus. In Jesus mighty name we pray & give you thanks, Amen. Grace & peace be with you.
