But the angel said to him: Do not be afraid Zechariah: your prayer has been heard. Your wife will bear you a son, & you are to give him the name John. Zechariah asked the angel: How can I be sure of this? I am an old man & my wife is well along in years.(Luke 1:13, 18). When told he would have a son, Zechariah doubted the angel's word. From Zechariah's human perspective, his doubts were understandable - but with God, anything is possible. Although Zechariah & Elizabeth were past the age of childbearing, God gave them a child. It is easy to doubt or misunderstand what God wants to do in our lives. Even God's people sometimes make the mistake of trusting their intellect rather than God. Always realize that we live by faith & NOT by sight, feelings, senses or logic. What God has promised, that He will fulfil without fail. What He says, He will do it. He is able to do what He said He would do. Age is just a number before God. He is not limited by your age. Abraham & Sarah were blessed with a son, Isaac at old age. Moses started ministry at age 80. I was called into ministry at 32 & put into office this year at 63. Have faith in God. With men things are impossible but not with God. All things are possible with God. Nothing is difficult with Him. You only need to believe Him & His Word. You only need to take God at His Word. You only need to stand on the promises & authority of the Word of God & you are set. Fear not. Doubt not. Only believe Jesus Christ. When tempted to think that one of God's promises is impossible, remember His work throughout history. God's power is not confined by narrow perspective or bound by human limitations. Trust Him completely, He will work out the answers for you. He is our solution or answer. There is no problem that He cannot solve. There is no burden that He cannot lift up. There is no need that He cannot supply.There is no God's vision that He cannot bring it to pass. He is our source of everything. Thank you Jesus. Good morning Holy Spirit. Prayer: Father, increase our faith so that we will believe you for BIGGER or MEGA things. Strengthen it with the Word of God. Help us to have a Bible reading & meditation of the Word culture. Help us to obey God & His Word in total. I believe that as we do this, you will strengthen our faith.  Doubt will leave us. Fear will leave us. Give us the grace to take You at Your Word always & to stand on your promises as written in your Word. Thank you Jesus for hearing & answering my prayer. As we have prayed, put your angels to action. In Jesus mighty name we pray & believe, Amen. Grace & peace be with you.
