Simon, Simon, satan has asked to sift you as wheat. But I have prayed for you, Simon, that your faith may not fail. And when you have turned back, strengthen your brothers. (Luke 22:31-32). Satan, though he appears to be a nuisance to us, he has a WEAKNESS. He bows before the Word of God. If you are faced with a situation, ask yourself what the Word of God says about that situation. Quote the Word that you BELIEVE into the the situation, he will leave you. This is how you overcome him. You submit yourself to God first  by finding out what God's Word says about that situation. Secondly, you resist him by quoting the appropriate Word for the situation in faith into the situation. The result: You win, you overcome him, he will leave you. It's this simple to those who consistently hear, or read or study the Bible daily & put it into practice. Their faith is strengthened by the Word. Because they read, meditate & obey the Word of God daily, they know the BASICS of the Gospel. They have read all the four Gospels a chapter per day, & have a good foundation in Christ. After going through the Gospels, they have proceeded to read, meditate & obey the remaining books of the New Testament. This way, you will know the will of God. It also gives you a good start before you move on to the Old Testament. Note that if you are obedient, satan cannot touch you. Why? God has given you maximum protection & security. Here we see him asking for permission to sift Peter like wheat. He did the same with Job. By way of testimony: God has made me a moving Bible. He has caused demons to fear me & announce me. This has made satan to be a SMALL BOY to me. I have declared war on the devil's war. Praise the Lord. Jesus defeated satan on the cross. He gave us authority over all power of the enemy. I  don't have to fight for victory; i live from a place of VICTORY. After Simon had turned back, God told him to strengthen his  brothers. When you rise again from a fallen state, encourage the brethren. Satan wanted to crush Simon Peter & the other disciples like grains of wheat. He hoped to find only chaff & blow it away. But Jesus assured Peter that his faith, although it will falter, would not be destroyed. It would be renewed, & Peter would become a powerful leader. Thank you Jesus. Good morning Holy Spirit. Prayer: Father, I thank you for Jesus. Thank you for the faith, the power, wisdom, revelation & overflow that you give to those who are obedient to God & His Word. Give us a Bible reading, meditation culture so that we may know your will BASICALLY. Give us the grace to apply the Word of God to our lives daily. Strengthen our faith. Make us ENCOURAGERS. Make us Kingdom builders & not Kingdom destroyers, dream killers, etc. Thank you Jesus for hearing & answering my prayer.  As we have prayed, despatch your angels, let them minister to all our varying needs.
