No one lights a lamp & hides it in a jar or puts it under a bed. Instead, he puts it on a stand, so that those who come in can see the light. For there is nothing hidden that will not be disclosed, & nothing concealed that will not be known or brought out into the open. Therefore consider carefully how you listen. Whoever has will be given more; whoever does not have, even what he thinks he has will be taken from him. (Luke 8:16-18). When the light of truth about Jesus illuminates us, it is our duty to shine that light to help others. Our witness for Christ should be public, not hidden. We should not keep the benefits for ourselves alone but pass them on to others. In order to be helpful, we need to be well placed. Seek opportunities to be there when both unbelievers & believers need help. Applying God's Word to our lives helps us grow. This is a principle of growth in physical, mental & spiritual life. If you are not growing stronger, you are growing weaker; it is impossible for you to standstill. How are you using what God has taught you? Are you keeping it to yourself or you are sharing it with others? As for me, I have chosen to pass on the Word or Gospel to others so that they too will be saved, healed, delivered & blessed as I am. So that they will know what God has done for me & be strengthened, encouraged & comforted. Note: When giving a testimony, tell people what God has done in your life. Do not make announcements about a lost or sick relative, or about you not being able to attend church services. These are announcements & not testimonies. Remember that testimonies are key & we must value that time. Why? We overcome the devil by the blood of Jesus & the word of our testimony. Testimonies make our deliverance permanent. They strengthen & encourage others still in their struggles. They will have hope & WIN at the end of the day. Thank you Jesus. Good morning Holy Spirit. Prayer: Father, thank you for entrusting me with so much faith, power, wisdom, revelation, gifting & overflowing anointing. Help me to use this surpassing grace to encourage & strengthen the brethren & draw all men unto Christ. Let your presence be with me always. Wherever You send me, let your presence go with me. Show me your glory. Perform extraordinary miracles by my hands. Let the grace of God disgrace the devils. Tear apart the works of the devil & paralyze his operations. Set people free from all forms of satanic oppression. Heal them from all forms of sicknesses & diseases. Receive all the praise & glory. I will not take any of your glory. Continue to make me loving, forgiving, humble, faithful & Word based. In Jesus mighty name we pray, believe & give you thanks, Amen. Grace & peace be with you.
This is the covenant I will make with the house of Israel after that time, declares the Lord. I will put My laws in their minds & write them on their hearts. I will be their God, & they will be My people. No longer will a man teach his neighbor, or a man his brother, saying: Know the Lord, because they will all know Me, from the least of them to the greatest. (Hebrews 8:10-11). If our hearts are not changed, following God's rules will be unpleasant & difficult. We will rebel against being told how to live the Christian way. The Holy Spirit, however, gives us new desires, helping us wanting to obey God. With new hearts, hearts of flesh & not hearts of stone, we will find that serving God is our greatest joy. Under God's new covenant, God's law is inside us & not outside, ie, on a tablet of stone. No, it's written in our hearts. It is no longer an external set of rules & principles. The Holy Spirit reminds us of Christ's words, activates our ...
