Some of the Sadducees, who say there is no resurrection, came to Jesus with a question: Teacher, they said: Moses wrote for us that if a man's brother dies & leaves a wife but no children, the man must marry the widow & have children for his brother. Now they were seven brothers.  The first one married a woman & died childless. The second & the third then married her, & in the same way the seven died, leaving no children. Finally, the woman died too. Now at the resurrection, whose wife will she be, since the seven were married to her? Jesus replied: The people of this age marry & are given in marriage. But those who are considered worthy of taking part in that age & in the resurrection from the dead will neither marry nor given in marriage, & they can no longer die, for they are like angels. They are God's children, since they are children of the resurrection. (Luke 20:27-36). Jesus statement does not mean that people will not recognize their partners in Heaven. It simply means that we must not think of Heaven as an extension of life as we now know it. Our relationships in this life are limited by time, death & sin. We don't know everything about our resurrection life, but Jesus affirms that relationships will be different from what we are used to here & now. God reveals in part. The secret things belong to the Lord our God. What has been revealed is for us. (see Deuteronomy 29:29). Let us keep seeking God & His Righteousness. Let us keep believing. Let us continue straining towards what lies ahead. Forget what lies behind. The Lord will reveal more to us as we go. It can even be by dream or vision. The Bible says:  We will be like the angels. Thank you Jesus. Good morning Holy Spirit. Prayer: Father, I thank you for Jesus. I thank you for you always hear our prayers & answer them. Thank you for shedding light on what we shall be in the resurrection.  Though you have not provided all the details but you have given us a clue. You also revealed in the book of Corinthians that we will be having Heavenly bodies, clothed with the imperishable  & immortal. We appreciate you in Jesus name. We believe that as we continue to seek you, you will reveal more. You will confide in us. What you reveal, we will regard it as classified information & keep the secret, unless you instruct us to reveal it to the people. Everything that i say, do or think, i follow the leadings or promptings of the Holy Spirit. I do not speak much. I am slow to speak & am a good listener. I follow your instructions at all times. Open the doors for us & grant us supernatural provision & overflow.  Fund our ministries so that we reach out with the Gospel to the remote areas. Our primary task is to win souls for You.
