All men will hate you because of Me, but he who stands firm to the end will be saved. (Mark 13:13). The Bible says: Those whose desire is to live a godly life will be  persecuted. They will be hated by many for standing for the truth of the Gospel. They will experience injustice & unfair treatment. People will gossip about them & make plans to frustrate them. Pressure is exerted on them for doing nothing wrong. People talk ABOUT them & not TO them. I have tried to think of situations in which those who are true to God are going through. To believe in Christ & stand firm to the end will take perseverance  because our faith will be challenged  & opposed. But the good part of it is that this suffering or opposition will produce CHARACTER in us. They will produce perseverance & hope as well. Hope does not disappoint & will keep your faith alive. Your faith will increase. You will continue to do the right thing amid opposition. Severe trials will sift true Christians from fair-weather believers. Enduring to the end does not earn salvation for us, but it marks us as already saved. The assurance of salvation will keep us going through the times of persecution.  God is with us. He is fighting for us & will give us victory. We only need to be still. Your enemies may form the majority, but do not worry about that. Fear not, keep believing, you & God are the MAJORITY.  At the end of it all, you will WIN. You will laugh last. Our God knows no defeat. He knows no failure.  He does not leave us or forsake us. He is our Helper. He is: God with us. No weapon formed against us will prosper. Take comfort in these words. Do not revenge. Do not give up. Love your enemies. Forgive them for they do not know what they are doing. They are clouded, blinded & are being used by satan. God has allowed it & is exposing their true character.  They are pretenders & causing divisions in the churches. Despite all that: love the unlovable. The Lord will fight for you. You will WIN. Thank you Jesus. Good morning Holy Spirit. Prayer: Father, I pray for your children who are being hated on account of their faith in Christ. They are facing opposition & injustices for being true to God. Give them the strength to go through the situation & to overlook the shame, disgrace, etc. Give them the grace to forgive their enemies & to love them. Give them the grace to remain focused on Jesus & to do the right thing at all times. Do not allow pressure or opposition to make them alter their confession of Christ or to revenge. Fight the battles for them. Grant them victory.  Thank you Jesus for hearing & answering my prayer. Put your angels to action.  In Jesus mighty name we pray, believe & give you thanks, Amen. Peace be with you.
