As Jesus & His disciples were on their way, He came to a village where a woman named Martha opened her home to him. She had a sister called Mary, who sat at the Lord's feet listening to what He said. But Martha was distracted by all the preparations that had to be made. She came to Him & asked: Lord, don't you care that my sister has left me to do the work by myself? Tell her to help me. Martha, Martha, the Lord answered: you are worried & upset about many things, but only one thing is needed. Mary has chosen what is better, & it will not be taken away from her. (Luke 10:38:42). Mary & Martha both loved Jesus. On this occasion they were both serving Him. But Martha thought Mary's style of serving was inferior to hers. She didn't realize that in her desire to serve, she was actually neglecting her guest. Are you so busy doing things for Jesus that you are not spending any time with Him? Don't let your service become self-serving; doing service without God. Jesus did not blame Martha for being concerned about household chores, He was only asking her to set priorities. It is possible for service to Christ to degenerate into mere busy work that is no longer full of devotion to God. Food for thought. Thank you Jesus. Good morning Holy Spirit. WARNING: The Lord has asked me to make this announcement to His Church worldwide. Beginning 17.06.23, the Lord is going to DISCIPLINE all those who are breaking His commands WILFULLY, deliberately, & bringing His name into disrepute. The time has come for Him to discipline us & to do so speedily. We are not going to escape for neglecting so great a salvation NOW. What you used to do & not suffer consequences for it, this time if we do it, we will be held accountable; we will suffer consequences of our actions. WATCH & SEE. Do not say that you were not told, the mouth of the Lord has spoken. Be warned.
This is the covenant I will make with the house of Israel after that time, declares the Lord. I will put My laws in their minds & write them on their hearts. I will be their God, & they will be My people. No longer will a man teach his neighbor, or a man his brother, saying: Know the Lord, because they will all know Me, from the least of them to the greatest. (Hebrews 8:10-11). If our hearts are not changed, following God's rules will be unpleasant & difficult. We will rebel against being told how to live the Christian way. The Holy Spirit, however, gives us new desires, helping us wanting to obey God. With new hearts, hearts of flesh & not hearts of stone, we will find that serving God is our greatest joy. Under God's new covenant, God's law is inside us & not outside, ie, on a tablet of stone. No, it's written in our hearts. It is no longer an external set of rules & principles. The Holy Spirit reminds us of Christ's words, activates our ...
