As Jesus approached  Jericho, a blind man was sitting by the roadside begging. When he heard the crowd going by, he asked what was happening. They told him: Jesus of Nazareth is passing by. He called out: Son of David, have mercy on me. Those who led the way rebuked him & told him to be quiet, but he shouted all the more: Son of David, have mercy on me. Jesus stopped & ordered the man to be brought to Him. When he came near, Jesus asked him: What do you want me to do for you ? Lord, I want to see, he replied. Jesus said to him: Receive your sight, your faith has healed you. Immediately, he received his sight & followed Jesus, praising God. When all the people saw it, they also praised God. (Luke 18:35-43). A cry for mercy, God hears & answers speedily. Beggars had little hope of escaping their degrading way of life. But this blind man took hope in the Messiah. He shamelessly cried out for Jesus' attention, & Jesus said that his FAITH allowed him to see. If you are sick & has faith in Jesus Christ, you can receive healing from the Lord. Faith connects us to God. Faith pleases God. Faith influences God to ACT. God honors faith the most. Without faith, we cannot receive anything from God, be it salvation, healing, deliverance or blessing. Faith is the basis of the Kingdom of God. Fear not, only believe Jesus Christ & He will attend to your case. There is no problem that Jesus cannot solve. There is no burden that He cannot lift up. There is no need that He cannot meet. There is no sickness & disease that He cannot heal, etc. He heals all diseases.  We only need to take Him at His Word. We only need to BELIEVE the Word & to SPEAK it. When we speak it, that thing is created in the spiritual realm & will soon manifest in the physical realm, if you keep believing & are patient. Faith & patience work hand in hand.  When you believe the Word &  speak it, God will work with you & honor or confirm His Word with miracles, signs & wonders. Another thing to note is that the blind man called Jesus: Son of David, a title for the Messiah. This means that he understood Jesus to be the long awaited Messiah. A poor & blind beggar could see that Jesus was the Messiah, while the religious leaders who saw his miracles & knew the Scriptures were blinded to His identity  & refused to recognize Him as the Messiah. In the church today, we have ordinary church members who are gifted, have knowledge of the Bible, CHARACTER, they have clarity & balance & could help take our churches to the next level but are not given a chance. They are kept seated on the bench. Why? The religious leaders are jealousy. Some of their ministers have information about God, but they have no revelation of Him. They do not use the gifted to take the church forward; they are threatened by them, & suppress them. They are blinded to His identity & continue to reject Him by not obeying His Word in total. Jesus said: If you love Me, you will obey what I command. The church is struggling when God has placed the right people in it, but who are kept on the bench because of jealousy. Lord help us. The church will continue to struggle if we continue to set God's will aside. When the gifted are being allowed to use their gifts, people are saved, healed, delivered & blessed. Do not take some of the statements said therein as judgemental. I have said this as a practical example & out of good faith. Food for thought. Thank you Jesus. Good morning Holy Spirit. Prayer: Father, we prayed & you answered us by putting the right people in place to help move our churches forward. But because they are more gifted than the leaders, your servants are under persecution in the churches. Lord Jesus, help us. Deliver your people from such afflictions. Inspire our leaders to place people according to their God given gifts so that the church will not struggle to grow. I rebuke the spirit of jealousy & envy in Jesus name. I rebuke the spirit of fear of the UNKNOWN in Jesus name. I loose the power of God, the power of deliverance, in Jesus name. Position the right people in the churches Lord. We need to prepare for the return of Jesus Christ. We need to go out into the world & preach the Gospel with POWER; & draw all men unto Christ. Thank you Jesus for hearing & answering my prayer.
