And He opened their minds that they might understand the Scriptures. (Luke 24:45). We need God to open our minds to understand the Scriptures. No one can understand fully the Scriptures without converting to Christ first & staying connected to God. You will know the stories recorded in the Bible, yes, but you will not know the God behind those stories. Some people have doctorates in Theology, but they do not fully understand the Bible. They quote it out of context. Some study the Hebrew & Greek versions & are experts in those languages, but still they do not comprehend the Scriptures. They do not even speak the language of the Bible. They speak carelessly. If you hear some of the words they speak, you will just say: Lord Jesus,  help us. They will be careless & even abusive words. Note that anyone can go to the university & choose to study theology just like they do with any other degree courses. You dont have to be a Christian to study theology, just like you dont have to be a Christian to study accounting or engineering or medicine.The Bible says: To know the truth, we must continue in Christ's teachings. Meaning, you have to be a true Christian first before your minds can be opened to understand the Scriptures. When you know the truth, that truth will set you free from sin, satanic oppression & death. The reverse is true: If you do not continue in Christ's teachings, you will not know the truth & you will remain bound, & have inaccurate knowledge. You will be the devil's playground instead of being an arena of FAITH. The Holy Spirit opens our minds to understand the Scriptures. He inspired faithful men to write the Bible. He is the real author of the Bible. The Bible is our spiritual food & spiritual weapon. As you hear it, read it, study it, hide it in your heart, digest it & obey it, you will be feeding  the inner man. He will become healthy & not malnourished. The Bible is also our spiritual weapon. We use it in spiritual warfare. Satan bows before the Word of God. When under attack, we ask ourselves what the Word of God says about that situation.  We then quote the Word that we BELIEVE into the situation. Satan will bow & leave us alone. The Holy Spirit uses the Word of God to transform our lives, renew our minds, change our attitudes, focus & motives. Christianity is not a religion. It is a relationship with God. It is characterized by a CHANGED life. Changed to be like Christ. This is transformation. Thank you Jesus. Good morning Holy Spirit. Prayer: Father, I pray that you give us a Bible reading & meditation of the Word culture. Help us to read the Word of God daily, meditate on it daily & put into practice what we learn from the Bible daily. It's a daily thing & not a Sunday morning thing at church. Free us on the inside & open the Heavens for us. Set us high above our companions. Make all grace abound towards us, so that we will have sufficiency in all things & at all times & an abundance for every good cause, bringing all the glory to God. Fight the battles for us. Grant us victory, good success, prosperity, favor, breakthrough, supernatural provision & overflow. Give us the grace to be MOVING Bibles. Help us to live the Word by faith, pray the Word, speak the Word & abide in the Word. Each time we quote your Word, i pray that you work with us & confirm your Word with miracles, signs & wonders. Thank you Jesus for hearing & answering my prayer.  Despatch your angels. Let them minister to our salvation, healing, deliverance, & blessing needs. In Jesus mighty name we pray & believe. Amen.  They have greatly oppressed me from my youth - let Israel say - they have greatly oppressed me from my youth but they have not gained victory over me. (Psalm 129:1-2). No weapons formed against me shall prosper. The devil has been fighting me from my youth. He for years struck me with terrible & terminal sicknesses, but God healed me.
