When an evil spirit comes out of a man, it goes through arid places seeking rest & does not find it. Then it says: I will return to the house I left. When it arrives, it finds the house swept CLEAN & put in order. Then it goes & takes seven other spirits more wicked than itself, & they go in & live there. And the final condition of that man is worse than the first. In today's age, the casting of a demon publicly, constitutes fifty per cent of the work. When the demon is casted out, the house is clean & EMPTY. This means that deliverance is fifty percent. We need to make it one hundred percent & permanent. What do we do? Let me answer you with a question? Why do we cast out demons in the first place? So that the work of God might be displayed in people's lives. For the glory of God. To set the person free from satanic oppression. The primary purpose is to influence people, both the delivered & those who witness the deliverance to convert to Christ. We have seen that when we cast out demons that the house is swept clean but empty. We have also learned that demons casted out will also return at some stage to the house it left to scout after finding no rest. It will find it clean & empty, then it will go back & get seven other spirits more wicked than itself & they re-enter the man. The final condition of that man is worse than the first. How do we make deliverance permanent. After deliverance, let us lead them to Christ so that the house is clean & OCCUPIED. When the demon comes to scout, it will find the house clean & occupied by Christ. His light will be shining in that house. Since light & darkness have no fellowship, the demon cannot re-enter, it will have to look for someone else. After helping the delivered to convert to Christ, do a very short Bible study on deliverance. They are many such passages in the Gospels where healing & deliverance is recorded. Pick on those passages. This will strengthen the faith of the person delivered. This way, deliverance will be permanent. Furthermore, the person delivered must testify. Why? We overcome the enemy by the blood of Jesus & the word of our testimony. Testifying also makes our deliverance permanent. Thank you Jesus. I believe that it has helped some not to do fifty percent deliverance but to complete the whole process so that at some stage demons casted out will not be able to re-enter the man.
