When you pray, you are sowing a seed. That seed will be harvested one day. When you give, your time, money, service, etc, in the Kingdom of God, you are sowing a seed. That seed will be harvested one day. When you preach or teach the Word of God, you are sowing a seed. One day you will raise a harvest of righteousness. Whatever you do for God & His Kingdom, material or non material, you are sowing a seed. One day you will reap what you have sown. You will reap in MULTIPLICATION. There is a time for sowing & there is a time for reaping. This applies to all kinds of seeds - both good kind of seeds & bad kind of seeds. The formula is the same. I say to someone today: Its harvest time. Your prayers have been answered, all of them. Your messages have touched hearts & changed lives. God is being glorified. The Kingdom of God is entering into the hearts of many people. God has made you live as royal. You will eat from the best of the land & you will raise a harvest of righteousness. Give thanks to God. Jesus blesses you.
This is the covenant I will make with the house of Israel after that time, declares the Lord. I will put My laws in their minds & write them on their hearts. I will be their God, & they will be My people. No longer will a man teach his neighbor, or a man his brother, saying: Know the Lord, because they will all know Me, from the least of them to the greatest. (Hebrews 8:10-11). If our hearts are not changed, following God's rules will be unpleasant & difficult. We will rebel against being told how to live the Christian way. The Holy Spirit, however, gives us new desires, helping us wanting to obey God. With new hearts, hearts of flesh & not hearts of stone, we will find that serving God is our greatest joy. Under God's new covenant, God's law is inside us & not outside, ie, on a tablet of stone. No, it's written in our hearts. It is no longer an external set of rules & principles.
