So then, men ought to regard us as servants of Christ & as those entrusted with the secret things of God. Now it is required that those who have been given a trust must prove faithful. ... It is the Lord who judges me. Therefore judge nothing before the appointed time; wait till the Lord comes. He will bring light to what is hidden in darkness & will expose the motives of men's hearts. At that time, each will receive His praise from God. (1 Corinthians 4:1-2, 4 b -5). Paul urged the Corinthians to think of him, Peter & Apollos not as leaders of factions, but as servants of Christ entrusted with the secret things of God. A servant does what his master tells him to do. We must do what God tells us to do in the Bible through His Holy Spirit. It is tempting to judge fellow Christians, evaluating whether or not they are good followers of Christ. But only God knows a person's heart, & He is the only One with the right to judge.
