Now I want you to realize that the head of every man is Christ, & the head of the woman is man, & the head of Christ is God. (1 Corinthians 11:3). Submission is a key element in the smooth functioning of any business, government, or family. God ordained submission in certain relationships to prevent chaos. It is essential to understand that submission is not surrender, or withdrawal or apathy. It does not mean inferiority, because God created all people in His image & because all have equal value. Submission is mutual commitment & cooperation. Thus God calls for submission among equals. He did not make the man superior; He made a way for the man & woman to work together. Jesus Christ, although equal with God the Father, submitted to Him to carry out the plan of salvation. Likewise, although equal to man under God, the wife should submit to her husband for the sake of their marriage & family. Submission between equals is submission by choice, not by force. We serve God in these relationships by willingly submitting to others in our church, to our spouses, & to our government leaders. Thank you Jesus. Good morning Holy Spirit. Prayer: Father, I thank you for Jesus. Thank you in advance for hearing my prayer. Thank you for crafting the plan of salvation & for letting Your Son, Jesus Christ to carry it out as a once & for all sacrifice. Today we have the right to be your children. Today we are royal. Help us to surrender totally to You & to submit totally to your Word. In Jesus name we pray & believe, Amen. God bless you all.

No longer will a man teach his neighbor, or a man his brother, saying: Know the Lord, because they will all know Me, from the least of them to the greatest. (Hebrews 8:10-11). If our hearts are not changed, following God's rules will be unpleasant & difficult. We will rebel against being told how to live the Christian way. The Holy Spirit, however, gives us new desires, helping us wanting to obey God. With new hearts, hearts of flesh & not hearts of stone, we will find that serving God is our greatest joy. Under God's new covenant, God's law is inside us & not outside, ie, on a tablet of stone. No, it's written in our hearts. It is no longer an external set of rules & principles. The Holy Spirit reminds us of Christ's words, activates our ...
