Fellow Christians, I urge you not to react to a situation, but to respond in accordance with the Word of God. This shows that you are not childish but you are going on towards maturity. Forgive me for the language used, but it had to be said that way. When you are faced with a situation, do not react to the situation; I repeat: do not react. Ask yourself what the Word of God says about that particular situation & respond in accordance with that Word. Be strengthened. God bless you all.
This is the covenant I will make with the house of Israel after that time, declares the Lord. I will put My laws in their minds & write them on their hearts. I will be their God, & they will be My people. No longer will a man teach his neighbor, or a man his brother, saying: Know the Lord, because they will all know Me, from the least of them to the greatest. (Hebrews 8:10-11). If our hearts are not changed, following God's rules will be unpleasant & difficult. We will rebel against being told how to live the Christian way. The Holy Spirit, however, gives us new desires, helping us wanting to obey God. With new hearts, hearts of flesh & not hearts of stone, we will find that serving God is our greatest joy.
