I appeal to you, brothers, in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, that all of you agree with one another so that there may be no divisions among you & that you may be perfectly united in mind & thought. My brothers, some from Chloe's household have informed me that they are quarrels among you. (1 Corinthians 1:10-11). To agree with one another allow for no divisions in the church. We have the Word of God as our guide & standard for daily living as Christians. We have the Holy Spirit as our Helper. The Holy Spirit uses the Word of God to transform us & to renew our minds. Let us submit totally to the Word of God & be filled & led by the Holy Spirit. Note that there is a difference between having opposing view points & being divisive. A group of people will not completely agree on every issue, but they can work together harmoniously if they agree on what truly matters, what is weightier - Jesus Christ is Lord of all. He is Lord of life. In my life, He is my all in all. In your church, speak & behave in a way that will reduce arguments & increase harmony. Petty differences should never divide Christians. Let us maintain unity of the Sprit through the bond of peace. Thank you Jesus. Good morning Holy Spirit. Prayer: Father, I thank you for Jesus. Thank you for your mercy & grace. The church is beset with a lot of divisions. There are quarrels among us. I come against this contrary spirit in the name of Jesus Christ, using the authority that you vested in me in Luke 10:19. Set your people free. I pray for unity, unity, unity of the Spirit as the Bible guides us. Lord Jesus, Lord Jesus, deliver your people from these satanic influences, tricks, schemes, tactics. I speak peace. Peace be still. Hush be still. Send your angels. Let them minister to our salvation, healing & deliverance needs. In Jesus mighty name we pray & believe, Amen. I declare: You are free in Jesus name. You are delivered. God bless you all.
This is the covenant I will make with the house of Israel after that time, declares the Lord. I will put My laws in their minds & write them on their hearts. I will be their God, & they will be My people. No longer will a man teach his neighbor, or a man his brother, saying: Know the Lord, because they will all know Me, from the least of them to the greatest. (Hebrews 8:10-11). If our hearts are not changed, following God's rules will be unpleasant & difficult. We will rebel against being told how to live the Christian way. The Holy Spirit, however, gives us new desires, helping us wanting to obey God. With new hearts, hearts of flesh & not hearts of stone, we will find that serving God is our greatest joy. Under God's new covenant, God's law is inside us & not outside, ie, on a tablet of stone. No, it's written in our hearts. It is no longer an external set of rules & principles. The Holy Spirit reminds us of Christ's words, activates our ...
