I would like to learn just one thing from you: Did you receive the Spirit by observing the law, or by believing what you heard? Are you so foolish? After beginning with the Spirit, are you now trying to attain your goal by human effort?  (Galatians 3:2-3). The believers in Galatia, some of whom may have been in Jerusalem at Pentecost & received the Holy Spirit there, knew that they hadn't received God's Spirit by obeying the Jewish laws. Paul stressed that just as they began their Christian lives in the power of the Spirit, so they should grow by the Spirit's power. The Galatians had taken a step backward when they had decided to insist on keeping the Jewish laws. We must realize that we grow spiritually because of God's work in us by His Spirit, not by following special rules. Church, i urge you to go back to the BASICS. Thank you Jesus. Good morning Holy Spirit. Prayer: Father,   some of our churches have created Christian religion, a mixture of the Word of God & man made laws. I rebuke the spirit behind this situation in the name of Jesus Christ. I disconnect it from your church in Jesus name. Thank you Jesus for setting your people free. Thank you for opening their eyes & turning them from darkness to light. In Jesus mighty name we pray, believe, & give you thanks,  Amen. God bless you all.
