Do nothing out of selfish ambition or vain conceit, but in humility consider others better than yourselves. (Philippians 2:3). Selfish ambition can ruin a church, but genuine humility can build it. God gave us authority to build. We need to be Kingdom builders. Being humble involves having a true perspective about ourselves. It does not mean that we should put ourselves down. Before God we are sinners, saved only by His grace, but we are saved & therefore have great worth in God's Kingdom. We must lay aside selfishness as God's children & treat others with respect & common courtesy. Prayer: Father, I pray for all the Christians & ministers today. Make us humble. I am praying for humility of mind upon the Christian population. Our Commander in Chief, Jesus Christ, was humble & we also as Christians ought to follow His example. Jesus was humble & gentle in heart. In Jesus mighty name we pray, believe & give you thanks, Amen. God bless you all.
