In this time of waiting upon the Lord, fasting, humbling yourself before the Lord, etc, i urge you not to treat your workers hard or harshly. Be merciful, be understanding, be tolerant. Be slow to speak & quick to listen. Satan in this period often creates situations which will make you angry. I urge you not react to the situation. Instead, respond according to the Word of God. What the Word of God says about that particular situation, do it. This way, you maintain humbleness before both God & man, which is the primary reason for prayer & fasting. The humble shall inherit the earth. Always be calm, quiet & composed. God will fight the battles for us. The battle belongs to the Lord. We only need to be still & forgiving. Grace & peace be with you.
This is the covenant I will make with the house of Israel after that time, declares the Lord. I will put My laws in their minds & write them on their hearts. I will be their God, & they will be My people. No longer will a man teach his neighbor, or a man his brother, saying: Know the Lord, because they will all know Me, from the least of them to the greatest. (Hebrews 8:10-11). If our hearts are not changed, following God's rules will be unpleasant & difficult. We will rebel against being told how to live the Christian way. The Holy Spirit, however, gives us new desires, helping us wanting to obey God. With new hearts, hearts of flesh & not hearts of stone, we will find that serving God is our greatest joy. Under God's new covenant, God's law is inside us & not outside, ie, on a tablet of stone. No, it's written in our hearts. It is no longer an external set of rules & principles.
