Don't let anyone look down on you because you are young, but set an example for the believers in speech, in life, in love, in faith & in purity. Until I come, devote yourself to the public reading of Scripture, to preaching & teaching. (1 Timothy 4:12-13). Timothy was a young pastor. It would have been easy for older Christians to look down on him because of his youth. He had to earn the respect of his elders by setting an example in his speech, life, purity, love & faith. Regardless of your age, God can use you. Whether you are young or old, don't think of your age as a handicap. Live so others can see Christ in you. They will be inspired to follow your example as you follow the example of Christ. The Kingdom of God will eventually enter into their hearts. Jesus Christ will become Lord & Saviour of their lives. Christian CHARACTER is key, if we are going to be effective in ministry & business. Devote yourself to prayer & to the Word of God. Meet God in His Word daily & act upon His Word. This way, you will grow spiritually; your faith will be strengthened; you will live a life of holiness, you will become closer & closer to God. You will become a mature, dedicated, committed, fruitful Christian. Thank you Jesus. Good morning Holy Spirit. Prayer: Father, let Your Holy Spirit help us to cultivate Christian character in our lives. Help us to set an example which others can see & be inspired to get saved. Align our words to Your Word. Align our lives to Your Word. Make us spiritual models. Thank you Jesus for hearing & answering my prayer. In Jesus mighty name we pray & believe, Amen. Grace & peace be with you.
