Here is a trustworthy saying that deserves full acceptance: Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners - of whom I am the worst. (1 Timothy 1:15). Here Paul summarizes the good news: Jesus came into the world to save sinners, & no sinner is beyond His saving power. Jesus didn't come merely to show us how to live a better life or to challenge us to be better people. He came to offer us salvation that leads to eternal life. Have you accepted His offer? Paul calls himself the worst of sinners. We think of Paul as a great hero of the faith, but Paul never saw himself that way, because he remembered his life before he met Christ. Paul understood & appreciated God's grace. In 1 Corinthians 15:10 he said: By the grace of God i am what I am, & His grace to me was not without effect. No, I worked harder than all of them - yet, not I, but the grace of God that was with me. Humility & gratitude should mark the life of every Christian. Never forget that you too are a sinner saved by grace. If you are not yet connected to Christ: Accept Jesus Christ as Lord & Saviour of your life. Confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord & believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead you will be saved. Counsel: If you have done this, do just these three things:
* Get a Bible or download it & read a few verses from it daily & think deeply about them. Start with the Gospel of John, it is in the New Testament. At this stage i want you to have a Bible reading & meditation of the Word culture.
* Pray everyday. Prayer is talking to God in the same way you talk to your friends. It is also a relationship with God through Jesus Christ.
* Look for a Bible believing church & go there for fellowship & encouragement. The pastor will help you further. Thank you Jesus. Good morning Holy Spirit. Statement Prayer: I pray for someone today. The Lord has forgiven your sins. Sin no more in Jesus name. God bless you all.
