The former regulation is set aside because it was weak & useless (for the law made nothing perfect), & a better hope is introduced, by which we draw near to God. (Hebrews 7:18-19). The Law was not intended to save people, but to point out sin. (see Romans 3:20), & to point toward Christ. (see Galatians 3:24-25). Salvation comes through Christ, whose sacrifice brings forgiveness for our sins. Being ethical, working diligently to help others, & giving to charitable causes are all commendable, but all of our deeds cannot save us or make us right with God. There is a better hope. That hope is Jesus Christ. He is the Hope of glory. The new covenant is a better covenant because it allows men from every nation who fear God to go directly to Him through Christ. We no longer need to rely on sacrificed animals & mediating priests to obtain God's forgiveness.  This new covenant is better because, while all human priests die, Christ lives forever. Priests & sacrifices could not save people, but Christ truly saves. You have access to Christ. This new covenant is better because it includes us, the Gentiles as well. The old covenant was for the house of Israel & Judah only. Christ is available to you, do you go to Him with your needs? There is no need that He cannot supply. There is no problem that He cannot solve. There is no burden that He cannot lift up. There is no sickness that He cannot heal. He heals all diseases. With Him, all things are possible. I urge you to get connected to God through Christ & stay connected to Him. Prayer:  Father, thank you for incorporating us, the Gentiles, into the new covenant. Help us to have Christlike character so that we become a light to our families & the people at large. There are a lot of people sitting on the fence right now, when they see transformation in us & a renewed mind, they will follow our example as we follow the example of Christ. Holy Spirit, Holy Spirit, convict us in regard to sin, righteousness & judgement, change us, renew us, so that we become true to God; so that our lives will inspire others to get saved. Let our lives produce fruit in keeping with our repentance. Thank you Father for hearing & answering my prayer.  In Jesus mighty name we pray & believe,  Amen.  Grace & peace be with you.
