For even when we were with you, we gave you this rule: If a man will not work, he shall not eat. We hear that some among you are idle. They are not busy; they are busybodies. Such people we command & urge in the Lord Jesus Christ to settle down & earn the bread they eat. (2 Thessalonians 3:10-12). A busybody is a gossip. An idle person who doesn't work ends up filling his or her time with less than helpful activities, like gossip. Rumors & hearsay are tantalizing, exciting to hear, & make us feel like insiders. But they tear people down. If you often find your nose in other people's business, you may be underemployed. Do not be idle, look for a task to do for Christ or for your family, & get to work. Pray continually & work hard. Idleness has no room in Christianity. Thank you Jesus. Good morning Holy Spirit. Prayer: Father, help us not to be idle but to pray continually & work hard. Deliver us from the spirit of gossip. Forgive our sins & wash us by the blood of Jesus. Thank you Jesus for hearing & answering my prayer. In Jesus mighty name we pray & believe, Amen. God bless you all.
Business God's Way: During this annual shutdown for most businesses, i urge you to rest, have quality time with the family & connect with God. Go for a holiday with the family if you can afford. After that, spend some quality time with God in a quiet place for an hour or so & seek His guidance. Carry your note pad & write the points down. Read your Bible, do meditation & pray. Present your plans to the Lord for the coming year & let Him approve them in His own time & in His own way. Be calm, quiet & composed, in order to hear that small still voice, gentle whisper from God. Result: The voice of God will give you guidance & direction for the coming year 2023. If things have not been okay with you in business, the Lord will enable you to have peace & joy in the midst of such storms. He will give you a way out. Do not panic no matter what comes your way. Remain focused on the perfomance & growth of your business. Do not murmur or complain...
