He did not enter by means of the blood of goats & calves; but He entered the Most Holy Place once for all by His own blood, having obtained eternal redemption. The blood of goats & bulls & the ashes of a heifer sprinkled on those who are ceremonially unclean sanctify them so that they are outwardly clean. How much more, then, will the blood of Christ, who through the eternal Spirit offered Himself unblemished to God, cleanse our consciences from acts that lead to death, so that we may serve the living God! (Hebrews 9:12-14). Though you know Christ,  you may believe that you have to work hard to make yourself good enough for God. But rules & rituals have never cleansed people's hearts. God is more interested in the condition of our hearts. Scripture says: Blessed are the pure in heart for they will see God. By Jesus blood alone: We have our consciences cleansed; we are freed from death's sting & can live to serve God; & we are freed from sins power. The urge to sin is removed. If you are carrying a load of guilt because you are finding that you can't be good enough for God, take another look at Jesus' & what it means for you. Christ can heal your conscience  & deliver you from the frustration of trying to earn God's favor. When the people sacrificed animals, God considered the peoples faith & obedience,  cleansed them from sin, & made them ceremonially acceptable according to the Old Testament law. But Christ's sacrifice transforms our lives & heart & makes us clean on the inside. His sacrifice is infinitely more effective than animal sacrifices. No barrier of sin or weakness on our part can stifle His forgiveness. The Holy Spirit helped Jesus in the atoning & redemption work. Thank you Jesus. Good morning Holy Spirit. Prayer: I pray for someone today. I want you to be totally free as you start this new year : Be freed in the name of Jesus. That oppression is gone. That sickness & disease is healed. You are delivered from that affliction, in Jesus name. I decree: You are free, healed, delivered & blessed in Jesus name. Counsel: Sin no more. Get connected to God through Christ & stay connected to Him. Grace & peace be with you.
