As He walked along, he saw Levi son of Alphaeus sitting at the tax collector's booth. Follow me, Jesus told him, & Levi got up & followed Him. While Jesus was having dinner at Levi's house, many tax collectors & sinners were eating with Him & His disciples, for they were many who followed him. When the teachers of the law who were Pharisees saw Him eating with the sinners & tax collectors, they asked His disciples: Why does He eat with sinners & tax collectors ? On hearing this, Jesus said to them: It is not the healthy who need a doctor, but the sick. I have not come to call the righteous, but sinners. (Mark 2:14-17). The day that Levi met Jesus, he held a meeting at his house to introduce others to Jesus. Levi didn't waste any time  starting to witness. Some people feel that new believers should wait for maturity or training before they begin to tell others about Christ. But like Levi, new believers can share their faith right away with whatever knowledge, skill or experience they already have. New believers can share their faith or testimony. Share briefly your life before Christ; how you met Christ & what has happened to you after meeting Christ; - the love, the peace, the joy, the miracle, etc. It happened to the Samaritan woman whom Jesus met at the well. The Scripture reads: Many of the Samaritans from that town believed in Him because of the woman's testimony: He told me everything I did. (John 4:39). The self-righteous Pharisees were indignant that Jesus would eat a meal with sinners. But Jesus gladly associated with sinners because He loved them & because He knew that they needed  to hear what He had to say. Jesus spent time with whoever needed or wanted to hear His message - poor, rich, bad, good. He loved the sinner & hate sin. We, too, must befriend those who need Christ, even if they do not seem to be ideal companions.  Are there people you have been neglecting because of their testimony? They may be the ones who most need to see & hear the message of Christ love in & from you. A person who has just been saved can introduce people to Jesus using whatever faith he has. One does not need training to be able to do this. Training is needed when it comes to discipleship, not introducing Jesus to people & sharing your brief testimony.  When sharing your testimony, talk briefly about your life before Christ, how you met Christ & your life after receiving Christ as Lord & Saviour of your life. Just imagine what will happen if all of us, billions of Christians, could introduce Christ to just one person each. The impact will be indescribable. This world will change almost overnight. I end here: Thank you Jesus. Good morning Holy Spirit. Prayer: Father, help us not to be too comfortable in our church buildings to the extent that we overlook witnessing.  Help us to go out into the world & introduce Jesus into the world. When we do so, I believe the Holy Spirit will convict them in regards to sin, righteousness & judgement. So we won't be alone in that witness. Give us a burdened heart for souls. For us to be saved, somebody, somewhere prayed for our salvation. Let us do the same with regards to others. Pray for their salvation, approach them & introduce them to Christ. You can do this individually. The Holy Spirit will do the rest. Help us to live right so that people will see the light of God shining in us. Thank you Jesus for hearing that & answering my prayer. Put your angels to action. In Jesus mighty name we pray & believe, Amen. Peace be with you.
