Indeed there are those who are last who will be first, & first who will be last. (Luke 13:30). There will be many surprises in God's Kingdom. Some who are despised now will be greatly honored then; some influential people here will be left outside the gates. What matters to God is not a person's earthly popularity, status, wealth, heritage, or power, but his or her commitment to Christ. When you are saved by God through Christ, stay connected to Him. In Christianity, it's not the beginning that matters, but the ending. It is possible for a person to start well & end up in a backslidden state. It is also possible for a person to start badly & end up being true to God. Being in a backslidden state does not mean that you will leave the church & go back into the world. Few people do that. However, many people will ACT Christianity, play church, sin wilfully or with full knowledge that they are sinning. These things they do while they are active members of the local churches. Some of them are even leaders & ministers in the churches. They are in a backslidden state though they still go to church. The first shall be the last & the last the first. This Scripture is proving to be true in their lives. They started well but look at what they are doing now, hindering even those who would want to convert to Christianity by their character. How do your values match what the Bible tells you to value? Put God in first place, & you will join people from all over the world  who will take their places at the feast in the Kingdom of Heaven. I am crying, serving the Lord with tears like apostle Paul. Every soul is precious to God. I have a burdened heart for souls. I end here today. Thank you Jesus. Good morning Holy Spirit. Prayer: Father, some of your churches are now operating outside the Scriptures. Their members are not in sync with You. There is now more of the world in some of our churches than the church in the world. Many people out there in the world are now sitting on the fence. Their expectation is to see people with Christian CHARACTER as defined in the Bible, people who are saved, freed by the Gospel that we preach. People who truly LOVE one another & not gossip about each other or work towards pulling each other down. They are not seeing that in the majority of cases. So they are sitting on the fence. Pending what? Pending our change of character. Lord Jesus, help us. We have largely become something that you did not create. I pray that you UPROOT anything in our lives that You did not plant. Tear apart the work of the devil in our lives. Open our eyes & turn us from darkness to light & from the power of satan to God. Break the barriers in Jesus name. Thank you Jesus for hearing & answering my humble prayer. In Jesus mighty name we pray & believe, Amen. Grace & peace be with you.
