If there is no resurrection of the dead, then not even Christ has been raised. And if Christ has not been raised, our preaching is useless & so is your faith. More than that, we are then found to be false witnesses about God, for we have testified about God that He raised Christ from the dead. But He did not raise Him if in fact the dead are not raised. For if the dead are not raised, then Christ has not been raised either. And if Christ has not been raised, your faith is futile: you are still in your sins. Then those who have fallen asleep in Christ are lost. (1 Corinthians 15:13-18). The good news is: The resurrection of Christ is the centre of the Christian faith. Because Christ rose from the dead as He promised, we know that what He said is true - He is  the Son of God. Because He rose, we have certainty that our sins are forgiven.  Because He rose & defeated sin & death, we know that we will also be raised. We know that sin no longer is master over our lives. We know that death has been swallowed up in victory by Christ. Where, O death, is your victory? Where, O death, is your sting? We can be holy as He is holy. We can be righteous as He is Righteous. So Jesus is alive, He is seated on the right hand of the Father. Let us witness the resurrection of Jesus Christ to the lost & dying world so that they may receive salvation as we are. Why witness the resurrection of Christ? The difference between Christianity & all the other religions is that Jesus Christ rose from the dead. He is alive. All the founding fathers of religion are dead. Their bones & skeletons are still in their graves to this day. But the tomb of Jesus is EMPTY. Let us give God a clap offering for being all wise & all powerful. Jesus Christ is the mediator between God & man. He is the only way to God the Father. Because He was raised from the dead, we as His followers will also be raised. Thank you Jesus. Good morning Holy Spirit.  Prayer: Thank you Father for crafting a plan of salvation for us all. Thank you for making Israel to experience a hardening in part until the full number of Gentiles have come in. Thank you Father for breaking the branches so that we, the Gentiles, could be grafted in. Give us the grace not to neglect this salvation but to be true to You. Open our eyes spiritually & help us not to judge or condemn Israel. It is also part of the new covenant. We leave the rest to You God. You are in control. You know what you are doing. The branches do not support the root, but the root supports us. This is the kindness & sternness of God. Lord Jesus, deliver us from our afflictions. In Jesus mighty name we pray, believe, & give you thanks,  Amen.  God bless you all.
