To the one we are the smell of death; to the other, the fragrance of life. And who is equal to such a task. Unlike so many, we don't peddle the Word of God for profit. On the contrary, in Christ we speak before God with sincerity, like men sent from God. ( 2 Corinthians 2:16-17). Paul asks who is equal to the task of representing Christ? Our adequacy is always from God. He has already commissioned & sent us. He has given us the Holy Spirit to enable us to speak with Christ's power. He keeps His eye on us, protecting us as we work for Him. So, if we realize that God makes us competent & useful, we can overcome our feelings of inadequacy.  Serving Christ, therefore, requires that we focus on what God can do through us, not on what we can't do by ourselves. If we are connected to God through Christ, we can do all things through Christ who gives us strength. We use God's energy to do His work. So we can run & not grow weary, walk & not be faint. Thank you Jesus. Good morning Holy Spirit. Prayer: Father, help us to realize that we can do all things through Christ who gives us strength. Help us to always realize that our adequacy is from God, who makes us competent  & useful. Bring shame & disgrace to our mockers. Let their plans fail in Jesus name. Give your children the grace to overcome any feelings of inadequacy that they  might have. Send your angels to minister to our needs. In Jesus mighty name we pray, & believe, Amen. God bless you all.
