For though we live in the world, we do not wage war as the world does. The weapons we fight with are not weapons of the world. On the contrary, they have divine power to demolish strongholds. We demolish arguments & every pretension that sets itself up against the knowledge of God, & we take captive every thought to make it obedient to Christ. And we will be ready to punish every act of disobedience, once your obedience is complete.  (2 Corinthians 10:3-6). We, like Paul, are merely weak humans, but we don't need to use human plans & methods to win our battles. God's mighty weapons are available to us as we fight against satans strongholds. The Christian must choose whose methods to use, God's or the world's. Paul assures us that God's mighty weapons - prayer, faith, hope, love, God's Word, the Holy Spirit are powerful & effective.  These weapons can break down the proud human arguments against God & the walls that satan builds to keep people from finding God. When dealing with the pride that keeps people  from a relationship with Christ, we may be tempted to use our own methods. But nothing can break down these barriers like God's weapons. Thank you Jesus. Good morning Holy Spirit. Prayer: Father, help us to use prayer, faith, God's Word, the Holy Spirit as we engage in spiritual warfare. Give us the grace to put on the full armor of God. Help us to meet You in your Word daily. Help us to internalize the Word so that we may quote it into the situation in our spiritual battles. Help us to live the Word, pray the Word & speak the Word at all times. Help us to be devoted to prayer & to the ministry of the Word. In Jesus mighty name we pray & believe, Amen. God bless you all.
