Finally, brothers, we instructed you how to live in order to please God, as in fact you are living. Now we ask you & urge you in the Lord Jesus to do this more & more. For you know what instructions we gave you by the authority of the Lord Jesus. It is God's will that you should be sanctified: that you should avoid sexual immorality; that each of you should learn to control his own body in a way that is holy or honorable, not in passionate lust like the heathen, who do not know God; & that in this matter no one should wrong his brother or take advantage of him. The Lord will punish men for all such sins, as we have already told you & warned you. For God did not call us to be impure, but to live a holy life. Therefore, he who rejects this instruction does not reject man but God, who gives you His Holy Spirit. (1 Thessalonians 4:1-8). The temptation to engage in pre-marital sex has always been powerful. Giving in to that temptation can have disastrous results. Sexual sins always hurt someone: individuals, families, businesses, churches, etc. Besides the physical consequences, there are also spiritual consequences.  Sexual desires & activities must be placed under Christ's control. God created sex for pro-creation & pleasure, & as an expression of love between a husband & wife. Sexual experience  must be limited to the marriage relationship to avoid hurting ourselves, our relationship to God, & our relationship with others. Thank you Jesus. Good morning Holy Spirit.  Prayer: Father,  I pray for your church today. Many of us, church of today, are guilty of sexual sins. Son of David, have mercy on us. Forgive us our sins. Wash us by the blood of Jesus. Purify us from all unrighteousness. We, as Your church, repent of this  body sin. Help us to abide in Your Word & for the words of Christ to abide in us. Thank you Jesus for hearing & answering my prayer. Put your angels to action. Let them minister to our salvation & deliverance needs. In Jesus mighty name we pray, believe & give you thanks,  Amen.  They have greatly oppressed me from my youth - let Israel say - they have greatly oppressed me from my youth but they have not gained victory over me. (Psalm 129:1-2). No weapons formed against me shall prosper. The devil has been fighting me from my youth. He for years struck me with terrible & terminal sicknesses, but God healed me.
